WaFunda (Feenix Social Enterprise Pty Ltd) is 100% owned by the Feenix Trust and is an Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) as defined in the B-BBEE Act.

“Wa” is derived from the Swahili word meaning “for” or “be” while “Funda” is derived from the Zulu word meaning read, learn or study. Together they create WaFunda meaning “of learning.” An ethos which spans the African continent and drives our daily motivations.
